2014 Toyota Tundra at Schaumburg Toyota
When it comes to best-selling, time-tested cars like the Toyota Camry and the Toyota Prius, it’s not hard to see why Toyota is the top-selling automaker in the world. What people tend to forget, however, is that we here at Schaumburg Toyota sell a pretty fine full-size pickup truck, as well, and if you’ve ever had the pleasure of driving the 2012 Toyota Tundra, you know that it’s every bit as worthy of praise as the smaller models in our stable that get more publicity. We don’t want that to hold consumers back from exploring our pickup options, though, as this truly is a top-notch truck.
One of the best things about the Tundra is that there are so many customizable options that we’ve got something out there for everybody. In all, there are three body styles, three different wheel bases, three bed lengths, and two trim levels available, and all those choices makes it possible for you to get exactly what you want out of a pickup truck.
The body styles include the two-door Regular Cab, extended four-door Double Cab, and four-door crew-cab CrewMax, while the two trims include the base level Tundra and the maxed out Tundra Limited, which is one heck of a truck. The CrewMax Limited, for example, has a huge rear seat, luxurious amenities, and front-hinged rear doors, which doesn’t make for too shabby a pickup truck.
It should be noted that not all of these variations can be paired up any which way; certain trims and body types only offer certain options, and other options depend on geographical location. Still, the point is that there are plenty of ways to get yourself a new Tundra, and all of them are excellent.
Not only is this truck versatile, durable, and powerful (the top engine is a beast of a 5.7-liter V8), but it’s also extremely safe. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the vehicle top marks of “Good” across the board for crash-tests, meaning it earns the coveted distinction of Top Safety Pick. The federal government also gave the Tundra a four-star crash rating, and all that combined with standard safety features like antilock brakes with brake assist, stability and traction control, trailer sway control, and loads of airbags puts it right on par with the safest vehicles we sell here at Schaumburg Toyota.
There are plenty of people out there looking for a great full-size pickup truck, whether it be for work or for towing a boat to the lake this summer. Either way, the 2012 Toyota Tundra is a perfectly capable option that has plenty of choices in regards to body style, trim, and engine type. Versatility is only the beginning of what makes this truck great, however, and we’d love to have you visit our Schaumburg lot to take one for a test drive. While you’re here, you can learn more about Schaumburg Toyota, the vehicles we sell, and the services we provide. Toyota is at the top of the automotive world for a number of reasons, and the Tundra is certainly one of them.
