For 2014, the Toyota RAV4 will be powered by a 2.5-liter direct-injection four-cylinder engine that is mated to a standard six-speed automatic transmission. Thanks to this powertrain, the Toyota RAV4 can deliver 176 horsepower and 172 lb-ft of torque.

EFFICIENCY

When suited with front-wheel drive, the Toyota RAV4 can earn up to 24 miles per gallon in the city and 31 miles per gallon on the highway. With all-wheel-drive on the other hand, the Toyota RAV4 can earn 22 miles per gallon in the city and 29 miles per gallon on the highway.

TECHNOLOGY

New on the Toyota RAV4 for 2014 is a new Entune Audio lineup. The Entune system features a 6.1” touchscreen, AM/FM/CD, Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity and audio streaming, iPod connectivity and control, USB 2.0, AUX mini-jack, and six speakers.
