2015 Toyota Highlander Helps Automaker Exceed Expectations

October 2015 was a good month for Toyota, the automaker of our favorite cars here at Schaumburg Toyota. The company reported better than expected sales on the strength of popular vehicles such as the 2015 Toyota Highlander and 2015 Toyota RAV4 which you can find in our inventory here at our Palatine area Toyota dealership.

Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A., Inc. reported an overall gain of 13 percent during October 2015 on sales of 204,045 vehicles, exceeding industry analysts’ expectations. Toyota Division sales were also strong at 177,609 vehicles, a gain of 13 percent.

The Toyota Highlander contributed to the automaker’s sales success during October 2015, posting sales of 13,316 vehicles for a gain of 10 percent compared to the same month last year. It was the best ever October sales performance for the popular SUV. The Toyota Highlander continues to win over drivers both here at our Toyota dealership serving Palatine and throughout the auto market on the strength of its elegant and muscular styling, spacious and versatile interior and generous cargo capacity, and its available V6 power and all-wheel drive capability.

The Toyota RAV4 also performed exceedingly well, posting sales of 28,256 vehicles during October 2015 for a gain of 31.3 percent compared to the same month last year. It also recorded its best ever October monthly sales.
