2016 Toyota Camry, 2015 Toyota RAV4 Drive Sales Gains

Toyota builds a lot of cool cars these days! The 2016 Toyota Camry posted impressive sales of 30,945 vehicles during November 2015, gaining 16.6 percent on a daily selling rate basis and a 7.3 percent gain on a volume basis. Available in five models from your Des Plaines area Toyota dealers here at Schaumburg Toyota — LE, XLE, SE, XSE, and Special Edition — the 2016 Toyota Camry boasts sporty and bold good looks outside, a spacious and comfortable interior and a 15.4 cubic foot trunk, and a 178-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine or an available 268-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 engine.

The 2016 Toyota Camry wasn’t the only terrific Toyota vehicle to help propel the automaker to November gains — the 2015 Toyota RAV4 also contributed, posting its best ever November monthly sales with sales of 27,368 vehicles for a 40.9 percent gain on a daily selling rate basis and a 29.7 percent gain on a volume basis. “With the best Black Friday weekend in eight years,” said Toyota Division Group Vice President and General Manager Bill Fay, “Toyota’s record sales of RAV4 and Light Trucks overall contributed to double-digit growth in November.”

Overall Toyota posted daily selling rate gains of 11.7 percent and volume gains of 2.8 percent on sales of 160,177 vehicles.
