The Hot Toyota FT 86

In the Chicago Northwest Suburbs, like Roselle, Camry drivers know all too well the superb reliability and handling that is associated with the Toyota brand name.  And even though Toyota is quite happy producing cars with the utmost safety and quality, the auto maker wants to bring back a certain type of thrilling car that has somehow been forgotten in the past.

You see, many of us here at Schaumburg Toyota, your closest Roselle Toyota dealer, remember the days when Toyota built exciting new cars.  The auto giant itself seems to have recently been reawakened by this fact and has come out with a jaw dropping concept car.  The FT 86 recently made its appearance at the Geneva Motor Show, and boy oh boy are we excited to get our hands on this beauty of a sports car.

Yes, you heard right, Toyota is coming out with a sports car.  And this is going to be like nothing that Toyota has produced before.  Sure, Toyota had the Celica, MR2, and Supra in the past, but the FT86 blows these previous models away with its aggressively sleek exterior styling.  But that’s not all; just wait until you hear what’s under that gorgeous hood.  A four-cylinder lightweight and compact boxer engine will power this beast of a car.

The FT86 sports a sleek and sculpted body style with dual outlet exhaust, massive shiny alloy wheels, and a rear spoiler.  Believe me that this car not only commands attention, it shouts to be driven by those looking for a blissful experience.  Chief Engineer, Tetsuya Tada stated that, “With the FT-86 concept, I wanted to pass on the same feeling of joyful driving which embodied the Corolla Levin AE86 model.”

Now, if you are interested in this concept car, like many of us around here are, the good news is that you won’t have to wait too long for it to arrive in dealerships.  Some say that it even may be available for sale some time in 2012.  Until then, make sure you are on the look out for more updates and news on the FT86 in the near future.
