February 15th, 2011 by

With the 2011 Chicago Auto Show coming to an end February 20th, all of you who haven’t already been able to make the trip out to the Windy City may want to get a move on.  The Chicago Auto Show is celebrating its 103rd year as the nation’s largest auto show.  It is utilizing more than 1.2 million square feet of the McCormick Place complex.  All in all, this massive space will accommodate a wide range of vehicular exhibitions.  In total, the Chicago Auto Show will display nearly 1,000 different vehicles that will range from domestic, import, experimental, and even thought provoking concept cars.

Unlike any other previous year, this year the Chicago Auto Show is offering its visitors something unexpected.  Well, when it comes to the Toyota brand that is.  This year, Toyota is offering its auto show visitors a unique opportunity to experience their cars like never before.  And boy oh boy are Toyota enthusiasts, proud owners, and Toyota dealers ecstatic about it!

Auto Show Engagement Manager at Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., Ruslan Polinovsky, enthusiastically stated that, “We’re excited to be bringing experiential program to the Chicago Auto Show.  Even though we’re indoors, visitors will definitely experience the outdoor ride and capability of our vehicles in a number of simulated scenarios.  With professional drivers at the helms, consumers will be amazed at what these trucks and SUV’s can do in tough, challenging situations.”  It seems that even 2011 Toyota Rav4 Chicago drivers are excited about seeing the full range of capabilities from their vehicle.

What we are talking about here is none other than the “Toyota Drive Center”.  The “Toyota Drive Center” is a 50,000 square foot riding course where participants can ride along with a professional driver in the Toyota vehicle of their choice.  The course is designed to give the maximum realistic experience when it comes to operating a Toyota.  The overall theme of the course is designed to show the Toyota vehicle’s strength and quickness in realistic natural conditions.  For that reason, the course closely mirrors several elements that are found in nature, such as; gravel, mounds of dirt, and even occasional logs to convey the ruggedness of the six Toyota vehicles participants can choose to ride along in.  The vehicles that consumers can choose to experience include:  4Runner, Rav4, Highlander, Highlander Hybrid, Tacoma, and Tundra.

We encourage you to get to the “Toyota Drive Center” at the Chicago Auto Show as soon as possible to experience this fantastic program.  Participants will even receive a complimentary Toyota baseball cap for experiencing something that is extremely worthwhile.
