Toyota Working Tirelessly to Make Customers Happy!

Unless you live your daily existence in a bubble, you’ve likely heard about the recalls and brand troubles that have plagued some Toyota owners and the company as a whole from late 2009-early 2010.  Since all this came to the forefront, executive staff at Toyota have been working very hard to keep customers coming back for more and to make sure that their autos are safe and manufactured with the highest quality standards at all times.

One area that Toyota is improving is the relationship and communication the company has with their parts’ suppliers. You may remember that some residents of Palatine, Camry models were recalled due to pedals sticking, found out that the company who supplied this auto part was being looked at, as possible manufacturing errors may have taken place at the company.  Toyota has launched a Supplier Collaboration and Quality Control to monitor the manufacturing of parts from beginning to end.  This will hopefully help resolve any problems or issues before a Toyota model is sold and put on the roadways.

Moreover, Toyota is focusing on staff training and development.  It is key in any industry that staff know the brand well, are professional, and focus on the customer’s needs and wants at all times.  In July 2010 they opened the North American Center for Quality Excellence in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  It is a place where Toyota staff who sell the 4 Runner, Barrington High School students’ car of choice, can relearn the “Toyota Way” and attend some training seminars.  These training classes will focus on customer service, safety, design and quality control.   It is the hopes of higher-ups at Toyota that staff will come out refreshed, excited, and ready to focus on the loyal Toyota enthusiasts.

Since some problems have come up with various models, Toyota is working hard to make sure all the autos recalled are fixed.  As of early October, 80 percent of the 2.3 million models recalled for pedal sticking issues have been taken care of.  Of the autos that were recalled for ABS enhancements, 86 percent have been resolved.  There are just an example of how Toyota has been working very hard to get customers safely back on the roads.  Happy customers means steady sales that will keep dealerships rolling and drivers proudly displaying the Toyota badge!
