Toyota Continues Sales Surge

Toyota has a bit of a paradox on its hands it seems.  By switching things up and coming out with a whole new line of 2012 vehicles this year it has resulted in more of the same when it comes to sales of those vehicles.  June’s sales of Toyota vehicles continue to impress with an increase of sixty percent over the same month a year ago.  And through the first six months of the year, a less volatile measure, the increase has been twenty seven percent.  This success has been, in part, due to the new innovative vehicles Toyota has to offer this year, like the 2012 Toyota Prius c, and it certainly wouldn’t be a waste of time to come down to Schaumburg Toyota to have a look.

The passenger car group of vehicles at Toyota posted even better numbers in June.  Increasing by nearly seventy percent, the June numbers were led by the Camry and Camry Hybrid.  Closely following those two vehicles was the Corolla and the Prius family of vehicles.  The light trucks division slacked this month with only an increase of nearly thirty five percent over the same month last year.  The RAV4 led the way for the light truck sales for the month.
