Toyota continues strong year with August Sales

Month by month, it has been a great year for the Toyota family as a whole, and August of this year has been no different. Sales for the Toyota Motor Sales in the United States increased by over forty five percent from the same month a year ago. Needless to say, our new models have contributed a great deal to this month’s, as well as so many previous months, increase in sales as Toyota drivers have responded so well to the new options. Toyota group Vice President and General Manager Bill Fay has said the driving force behind our growth continues to be strong consumer response to the new models we’ve launched over the past twelve months, and of course the added value those vehicles represent. Light truck, SUV, and passenger car vehicles each increased over forty seven percent, and the RAV4 again was one of the vehicles leading the charge.
