Toyota Continues to See Steady Growth in February

March 10th, 2013 by

We really hope that the news of Toyota continuing to have strong month after strong month is not becoming redundant, but it is something we are very proud of month after month. February was no exception as Toyota increased their sales by a over eight percent compared to the same month in 2012. Making up a significant portion of the overall sales for the month, Toyota’s RAV4 and the all-new Avalon posted record sales. So if you are the Chicagoland area stopping by the Schaumburg Toyota lot to see the 2013 Toyota RAV4 to see what all the fuss is about would not be a waste of time.

Bill Fay, who is the group vice president and general manager of the Toyota Division said, “With the most fuel efficient full line of vehicles, Toyota is well positioned, and we’re encouraged by very positive consume reaction to our new Avalon and RAV4.” This is all despite the rising gas prices and severe winter storms so that makes us even more encouraged. One of the things to be encouraged about is the Avalon posting it’s best month since November which translates to an over 63 percent increase. Toyota Corolla sales were up nearly 13 percent, and Toyota truck sales posted an increase of over 16 percent. All in all, we’d say it was a pretty good month, and are eagerly looking forward to what is going to come next. Like we mentioned before, if you think you’re going to be buying a new vehicle anytime soon you should make a trip to the Schaumburg Toyota lot.
