Toyota Partners with Boys & Girls Clubs of America
The young students who are going to class and doing their homework today will be the same people who will be making up the work force, including some who will be filling a variety of positions at Toyota, sooner than their parents might hope. Because Toyota recognizes that to carry on its reputation of quality and fuel efficient vehicles into the coming generations it will take new innovations from today’s students Toyota has teamed up with three firms to provide nearly a half million dollars to Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Diplomas to Degrees program, the organization’s college readiness program. Schaumburg Toyota is very pleased to offer this years 2013 Toyota Prius c, as well as so many other vehicles designed by the Toyota engineers, designers, and the rest of the team who weren’t students all that long ago.
The partnership between Toyota and Boys & Girls Clubs of America provides tools, resources, and support to Club teens to help them be better prepared for the move from high school to college graduation. This year was over a fifty percent increase in the total donation to the Boys & Girls Club, which was made because Toyota pledged a $50 donation for every single vehicle purchased for the entire month of this past November.
For obvious reasons, Schaumburg Toyota is proud to be part of the Toyota family, and to see if you want to join the Toyota family too all it takes if you’re in the Chicagoland area is a trip over to the Schaumburg Toyota lot.
