Toyota returns in full force to the market with sales up 50%

April 21st, 2010 by

Over the past few months Toyota may have had some issues with recalls, but they planned a big comeback in March. Announcing in early March, Toyota gave zero percent financing for up to 60 months and a complimentary two-year “Toyota Auto Care Premium Package” that includes oil changes and other maintenance services at all Toyota dealerships including Schaumburg Tundra dealer Schaumburg Toyota. March sales are up 88 percent from the previous month and nearly 50 percent from March 2009. Sales were so impressive in March that Toyota is continuing deals into April.

Once Toyota put its hefty incentives in place last month, they were essentially matched by all other major automakers in the U.S. market. With other carmakers following in their footsteps, now truly is the time to buy a new vehicle. Toyota has gone above and beyond to get the job done and get foot traffic back in the showrooms, like Schaumburg Tundra and Schaumburg Camry.

Even after all of their mishaps in early 2010, 81 percent of current Toyota customers still think “the company will be able to fix all of the problems” and 78 percent still think it is safe to drive a Toyota car, according to CBS News Polls. Schaumburg Camry, like many Toyota dealers nationwide, is working very hard to prove themselves once again to consumers. Toyota has a superb record for reliability and durability, which goes a long way toward reclaiming their good name. This is good news for consumers and area dealers, like Schaumburg Camry, because with amazing incentives and increased sales, Toyota can finally get back on track and pick up where they left off.

Personally, I am very excited about all the deals Toyota is offering. They are doing exactly what they need to do in order to earn back the consumers’ trust. They made a mistake, apologized for it, and then fixed the problem. It will be interesting to see how this will affect the company in the long-run, but I’m sure Toyota will bounce back even better than before. With sales up 50 percent from last year, they are already off to a great start on the road to redemption.
