Toyota Tundra named “Best Full Sized Truck for the Money”

When you combine the last two posts it has been a good month for the Toyota team.  U.S. News and World Report recently released its annual awards for the “Best Cars for the Money”  In 2013, two Toyota vehicles were chosen to be placed at the top spot of their respective segments.  In the “Best Full Size Truck for the Money” segment the 2013 Toyota Tundra took top honors.  If you are in the Chicagoland area, we urge you to come down to Schaumburg Toyota to see if you agree with U.S. News and World Report that the 2013 Toyota Tundra is the best full size truck for the money.
Bill Fay, group vice president and general manager in the Toyota division, said, “Sweeping the pickup truck segment as ‘Best Cars for the Money’ from U.S. News & World Report is a great honor and reflects Toyota’s commitment to quality, durability, and reliability, all key ingredients for great value.”  It isn’t any small task to be win the award as they are awarded after factoring in over twenty one categories, combining quality and value, with the highest composite scores winning each vehicle segment.  Quality is measured through U.S. News car rankings, and Value is measured by a combination of a vehicle’s five-year total cost of ownership and the average price paid for the vehicle.
