Toyota USA Foundation $5.8M Grant Supports Manufacturing Education

That’s why Toyota and the Toyota USA Foundation recently announced a pledge to provide $5.8 million in grants for education in support of manufacturing in America.

The Toyota USA Foundation is focused on furthering education in the fields of mathematics, science, engineering, and technology. The recently announced grants will go towards encouraging and supporting careers in manufacturing for high school students as well as adults. Of note, the Toyota USA Foundation will place special emphasis on encouraging manufacturing education among communities of diversity and among women.

According to Michael Rouse, President of the Toyota USA Foundation, “The Toyota USA Foundation is committed to supporting the American manufacturing sector to strengthen our economy… By helping students discover their interests in manufacturing careers now, we can cultivate their talents and passions to bolster this critical field for the future.”
