Toyota Was #1 Retail Manufacturer In March
Looking for ways to continuously improve is really imperative to making the innovations necessary that can advance an industry. This is how all industries improve, and ours is no different. This is why Toyota is dedicated to continuously seeking ways to improve all of its models, and those innovations undoubtedly played a part in Toyota being the number one retail manufacturer in the month of March in 2013. It’s hard to pick which highlight of the past month to point out, but the all new 2013 Toyota Avalon more than doubling its sales is a good place to start. If you’re in the Chicagoland area come to Schaumburg Toyota to see what so many people last month drove off the lot in.
The 2013 Toyota Avalon was not the only vehicle to show solid gains either. The Toyota Tundra and Toyota Corolla also posted double digit increases, and the strong sales were not just in March considering for the first quarter Toyota Motor Sales reported an increase of over ten percent over the same period in 2012. Bob Carter, senior vice president of automotive operations said, “The auto industry continued its string of impressive monthly results, and at Toyota we had our best month since Cash for Clunkers in August of 2009.” The best month in nearly four years is something to be proud of, and we don’t think it was just luck that got us here. If you feel the same way coming down to Schaumburg Toyota to take a look at the 2013 Toyota Avalon or any of our other new and pre-owned cars, trucks, and SUVs will not be a waste of time.
